The Firefighter Combat Challenge is a
competitive event in which firefighters
simulate the physical demands of
real-life firefighting by completing an
obstacle course consisting of five tasks.

These tasks include: the high-rise tower
climb, hose hoist, forcible entry
simulator, hose drag and the victim
rescue.  These tasks are done in
succession against a fellow competitor
but more importantly against the clock.
